Bookings Terms & Conditions
Hello Mama. These terms are here to ensure that our journey together is clear, fair, and held in a space of mutual respect. By booking any session, course, or event with The Mindful Mama Mentor, you are agreeing to these terms. Let’s keep things simple and supportive.
1. Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to any individual (“The Client” or “You”) booking a service with Jen Wilde (“The Mentor”), operating as The Mindful Mama Mentor in North East England and online. Services include 1:1 sessions, group workshops, local events, and online courses.
2. Booking & Confirmation
You can book through our online system, via email, or through designated third-party ticketing sites for events. Your place is only officially confirmed once full payment (or a specified deposit) has been received and you have received a confirmation email from us.
3. Payments & Deposits
All payments are processed securely online. For courses or high-value 1:1 packages, a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your dates. The balance must be cleared at least 48 hours before your first session begins, unless a payment plan has been pre-agreed in writing.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
- Cooling-off Period: For online and distance bookings, you have a 14-day statutory right to cancel and receive a full refund, provided the service has not yet started.
- Client Cancellations: If you cancel with more than 7 days’ notice, we will offer a refund minus any non-refundable deposit. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
- Teacher Cancellations: In the rare event that Jen Wilde needs to cancel a session due to illness or emergency, you will be offered a full refund for that session or a rescheduled date that suits you.
5. Your Wellbeing & Medical Disclaimer
The Mindful Mama Mentor provides wellbeing coaching and educational support. This is not medical advice, therapy, or clinical treatment. You remain responsible for your own health and that of your baby. If you have any medical concerns during pregnancy or postnatally, please consult your midwife or GP. It is your responsibility to inform us of any health conditions or changes before a session begins.
6. Lateness & Rescheduling
I understand that life with little ones can be unpredictable! For 1:1 sessions, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule. Lateness may result in a shortened session time to protect subsequent bookings. No-shows for events or courses unfortunately cannot be refunded or transferred.
7. Little Ones at Sessions
Babies are always welcome at our postnatal sessions and specific 'Mama & Baby' circles. For antenatal courses, we generally recommend child-free time so you can focus on yourself, but please reach out if finding childcare is a barrier; I want to support you.
8. Online Sessions & Tech
Online sessions are held via Zoom. You are responsible for ensuring your internet connection and device are working. If a session is interrupted by technical failure on my end, I will reschedule the lost time for you.
9. General Provisions
- Privacy: Your personal data is handled with love according to our Privacy Policy.
- Liability: Total liability is limited to the cost of the session or course booked.
- Complaints: If you are unhappy, please email Jen Wilde directly. I value your feedback and will always aim to resolve matters kindly.
- Law: These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
